On March 28, 2025, in VSMU the meeting of the University Rector, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexey Chukanov with the students took place.

At the beginning of the meeting Alexey Nikolaevich noted that the inauguration of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko became an important event for our country, including for the student youth of the University.

He drew the attention of those present to the fact that VSMU was one of the first to acquire the book “Our President”, which includes the characteristic of the student A.G.Lukashenko - the future President of the Republic of Belarus, his path and how much he has done and is doing for our country and each of us. You can get acquainted with the book in the library and at the faculties.

It should be noted that Alexei Nikolayevich, while talking to the students, emphasized that studying at a medical university is difficult, but only talented, purposeful, responsible and capable students choose the profession of doctor and pharmacist. Great expectations are placed on such students as the future elite of our society, and the state has always supported and will continue to support student initiatives.

Also during the meeting the Rector voiced many issues: accommodation in the dormitories of VSMU, interaction of public associations and organizations of the University.
