On April 2, 2025, the bright final of the city festival “Student Spring - 2025” dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia took place.

The gala concert was attended by the best groups from six universities of Vitebsk and Vitebsk region, as well as the guests from Russia – the students of Smolensk State Institute of Arts. Their numbers added a special flavor to the event and emphasized the strong connection between the two countries.

VSMU students also demonstrated their creativity: the modern choreography group immersed the hall in the atmosphere of reflection with the performance “War”, the pop song studio won hearts with a heartfelt performance of the composition “Leave a Trace”, and the street dance group energized the hall with a dynamic number “Groove”. The concert program ended with the performance of VSMU sports ballroom dance ensemble, which demonstrated grace and perfect technique in the number “Vytoki”.

Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work, Dmitry Kuzhel, the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, the teachers, the staff and the students of the University came to support the creative teams of VSMU.

According to the results of the competition Vitebsk State Medical University became the Laureate of the I degree of the City Festival of Youth Creativity “Student Spring - 2025”.

In the nomination “Choreographic Art” Diplomas were awarded to the Ensemble of Sports Ballroom Dance and the VSMU Street Dance Collective;

Pop Song Studio of VSMU was awarded with Diploma in the nomination “Vocal and Choral Art”.
