On April 14, 2025, there was a meeting of VSMU students living in dormitories №3, №4, and №5 with the inspector of Vitebsk city department of emergency situations, senior lieutenant of internal service Maxim Sergeevich Belyaev on the theme: “Fire safety rules in dormitories”.

At the meeting Maksim Sergeevich dwelled in detail on the measures to comply with fire safety directly at the places of residence, the rules of using electrical appliances in dormitories and what are the reasons for these rules, gave examples of violation of fire safety requirements and its dire consequences.
