On April 16-18, 2025, on the basis of Vitebsk State Medical University with great success and for the first time in the republican format the military-patriotic contest “I would go to the army” was held, in which the teams from eight universities of Belarus took part.

The organizers – the administration and staff of VSMU - prepared a rich program for the teams, created all conditions for fair and spectacular struggle.

The closing ceremony of the competition was held on April 18 on the square of VSMU. the Rector Alexey Chukanov congratulated the participants with the worthy performance, noted the high level of preparation of the teams, and also gave prizes and memorable gifts prepared by the University to the participants.

The winner of the Republican military-patriotic contest “I would go to the army!” was the team of VSMU “Girls from the medical unit”.

The second place diploma was awarded to the BSMU team “Dzieci Peramogi”.

The third place in the team competition was won by the team of VSU named after  P.M. Masherov “Masherovtsy”.

- the Prize from the Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov – the team of Yanka Kupala GrSU.

- The prize from the chairman of the primary organization of the “Belarusian Women Union” of VSMU Elena Sharykhina - the team of Gomel State Medical University.

- The prize “For the will to win” from the military-patriotic club of VSMU - the team of BSU “Front Girlfriends”.

The contest “I would go to the army” once again proved that modern girls are not only smart and beautiful, but also strong, brave and ready for any trials!
