On April 22, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University held a meeting for the first-year students of the faculty of overseas student’s training studying in English.

The event was held with the participation of an inspector of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Internal Affairs Office of the Pervomaisky District Administration of Vitebsk and was organised to improve the legal literacy of foreign students.

During the meeting the representative of the law enforcement bodies explained to the students in detail the basic rules of staying on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, including the requirements of migration legislation. The issues of personal safety, prevention of corruption and other offences were also discussed.

Such events contribute to the formation of legal culture of foreign students, help prevent possible violations of legislation and create favourable conditions for their successful study and comfortable stay in Belarus.
