On April 23, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University is hosting the student patriotic forum #United_Deed_2.0.

The event united the most active and enterprising students of medical, pharmaceutical, dental, pediatric, and foreign citizens training faculties.

The main goals of the forum were to form an active civic position among young people, foster patriotism, respect for the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus, as well as to support and implement promising youth projects.

The opening ceremony was held by the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel. Addressing the participants he stressed the importance of such initiatives for the development of the student community and wished the guys fruitful work, bright ideas and successful defence of their projects.

The programme of the event is rich and includes several key stages.

In the first half of the day under the motto ‘Live Brightly!’ a presentation of youth projects took place. The participants presented both already implemented initiatives and completely new, bold ideas ready for implementation. The projects covered three main areas: historical and patriotic education, promotion of healthy lifestyles and sports, as well as organisation of meaningful leisure activities for students.

The contest of video clips ‘Belarus through the Eyes of the Youth’ was no less colourful. The participants demonstrated their creativity by presenting works in various genres: from documentary reports and interviews to music videos and animated films. All the video works were united by love for their native country, sincerity and desire to show Belarus from the best sides.

The second part of the programme of the patriotic forum #United_Deed_2.0 included bright sports and intellectual competitions that united the participants in the spirit of healthy competition and aspiration for knowledge:

Sportsland ‘Health in Trend’ - dynamic relay races, strength tests and team games where everyone was able to show agility, endurance and will to win;        

intellectual game ‘History for the Future’ - a fascinating tournament of erudites, where knowledge of the past turned into a key to understanding the present. The participants answered questions about great events, heroes and traditions, proving that the memory of ancestral heritage is the basis for new achievements.

As a result of the competition programme, the best teams were determined, having shown themselves in various nominations.

The winner of the forum was the team of the Faculty of Dentistry ‘Kalasy’.

‘Team spirit’ - the team of the Faculty of Pediatrics “The Power of Unity”;

‘OBJECTIVE about the present’ - the team of the Faculty of Pediatrics “Lions”;

‘Health is our choice’ - the team of the Faculty of Pharmacy “Daring Provisors”;

‘Idea. Initiative. Action.’ - team of the Faculty of Medicine ‘On the Pulse’;

‘Intellect of the future’ - the team of the Faculty of Dentistry “Kalasy”.

A special prize from the primary trade union organisation of students was awarded to the team of the Faculty of Pediatrics.
