On April 24, 2025, the delegation of VSMU headed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov visited the first workplaces of young specialists in Brest region.

During the meeting with young specialists in Baranovsky maternity hospital and Baranovichi hospital the issues of professional training of the graduates, as well as providing them with comprehensive support, including social and legal aspects, were considered.

The Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov noted:

“Supporting graduates at the start of their professional journey is one of the key priorities of our university. It is important that young specialists feel confident in their abilities and see the prospects of professional growth”.

During the meeting special attention was paid to:

- observance of labor rights of young doctors,

- issues of adaptation in new teams,

- opportunities for professional development and participation in scientific projects.

The participants of the meeting had an opportunity to ask their questions and get detailed answers and recommendations from the representatives of the university administration.

Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work, emphasized:

“Today's meeting clearly showed how important it is to maintain a dialog between the university and practical healthcare. We saw how our graduates apply their knowledge in real clinical practice, and this is the best assessment of the quality of education”.
