VSMU students - participants of the IV Belarusian-Russian forum ‘We should live and remember’

live remember 01On April 24, 2025, the students of Vitebsk State Medical University under the guidance of the assistant professor of the chair of social and humanities sciences Martinkevich I.A. took part in the IV Belarusian-Russian student forum ‘We should live and remember’, timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Students of the 1st year of the medical faculty of VSMU Alexandra Antipova, Ksenia Vachkova and Vera Rovneiko presented their reports devoted to the theme of patriotism and historical heritage. According to the results of the forum their speeches were marked with certificates and memorable gifts.

During the forum the participants also contributed to the preservation of historical memory by taking part in the planting of the Victory Square and laying a memorial sign in honour of the heroic feat of the victorious generation.

Participation in such events contributes to strengthening ties between the youth of Belarus and Russia, as well as fostering respect for the heroic past of our countries.
