On April 25, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University held an international historical ‘Victory Dictant’ under the slogan ‘Know to Remember’. The participants of the action had to fulfil 25 tasks dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War in 45 minutes.

- The dictation is an excellent opportunity to test the perception of the youth of the historical past, - said the head of the main department of education of the regional executive committee Dmitry Khoma. - The 80th anniversary of the Great Victory is not just an anniversary date, but a reminder of the price at which the world was won. Today each of us has an opportunity to study, work and develop in the sovereign Belarus. The head of state is doing everything to make our country peaceful and life calm. It is important to appreciate what we have.

‘Victory Dictant’ is not just a test of knowledge, but an important step in preserving historical truth and patriotic education of the youth. Such initiatives help strengthen the bond between generations, build respect for the heroism of veterans and remind us that peace and freedom are a great gift for which our ancestors fought!
