On April 25, 2025, in accordance with the work plan of the scientific-educational cluster ‘Medicine and pharmaceutics - perspectives of development’ the international scientific-practical conference ‘Quality systems: perspectives of development’ was held on the basis of VSMU in hybrid format.
Olga Yashchenko, the Consultant of the Pharmaceutical Inspection Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, and Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organisational and Legal Work of VSMU, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech. The speakers noted that in connection with the announcement of the Five-Year Plan of Quality in the Republic of Belarus the theme of the conference is especially relevant and significant.
The Representatives of the cluster took part in the work of the conference: Educational establishment ‘Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University’ and ‘Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine’, Vitebsk UE “Pharmacia”, ‘VitVar’, as well as the Institute of Pharmacy of Kazan State Medical University, Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy, State Institution ‘Gosfarmnadzor’, RUE ‘BelPharmacia’, Brest, Grodno, Gomel, Mogilev RUE ‘Pharmacia’, LLC “Rubicon”, LLC ‘Yassa’.
The conference discussed the reflection of requirements to the quality of products and services in regulatory legal acts, the importance of the quality system for the development of enterprises and organisations, work with deviations and development of effective corrective and preventive actions, risk analysis and continuous training of personnel.
A number of reports were devoted to the creation of quality system in pharmacy network and pharmacy warehouse, documentation system as an element of quality system in production organisation and control and analytical laboratory, organisation of internal audits of distributor and testing laboratory.
The conference also discussed the requirements to the quality and safety of food products and the issues of professional identification of pharmacist-specialists to improve the quality of pharmaceutical services.
The conference participants noted the importance and usefulness of the event.
