On May 2, 2025, the delegation of the staff and students of VSMU took part in the X regional patriotic action “Victory Breakthrough”. At the memorial complex “Breakthrough” in Ushachsky district of Vitebsk region the University presented an exhibition exposition of civil-patriotic orientation. Also during the whole event active career guidance activities were carried out among the present youth of Ushachy, Polotsk, Novopolotsk and Miory districts.

The action included a solemn meeting and a festive concert dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the breakthrough of the enemy blockade by the fighters of the Polotsk-Lepel partisan zone.

The anniversary regional patriotic action “Victory Breakthrough” became one of the main festive events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, which was attended by the representatives of public organizations, delegations of cities and districts of Vitebsk region, as well as the Pskov and Smolensk regions of the Russian Federation.
