On the eve of the Family Day - the holiday of love and warmth - the students of the Pediatric Faculty of VSMU together with the Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work Elena Batalkina visited the Children's Home.

The guests brought with them not only gifts - diapers, sweets and toys - but also the most important thing: care and attention.

“We wanted to remind the children that they are not alone, that they are remembered and loved,” shared Alyona Dzhanoyan, a 2nd year student of the Pediatrics Faculty. - Family is the most valuable thing a person has. And on this special day we wanted every baby to feel that he is important, he is needed, he is surrounded by kindness”.

This meeting left warm feelings in the hearts of both students and little wards of the Children's Home.

As Elena Batalkina noted: “Such actions are important not only for children, but also for future doctors - they learn empathy, mercy and professional sensitivity, which are so necessary in the work of pediatrician”.
