On May 14, 2025, within the framework of the Republican action “Together - for a strong and healthy family” dedicated to the Family Day, the opening of the photo exhibition and awarding of the winners of the photo contest of the XIX-XX centuries “Family Traditions of Belarus” “Family Traditions of Belarus” took place.

The contest was organized by the participants of the project “Family - the National Wealth of Belarus”. From February till March 2025 the students of VSMU provided photos of the XIX - XX centuries from family albums and archives in five nominations: “Family photo”, “Family with many children”, “Traditions in the family”, “My great-grandfather - veteran of the Great Patriotic War”, “Faces, destinies, professions”.

The Vice-rector for ideological and educational work Dmitry Kuzhel handed diplomas and prizes to the winners of the contest and emphasized that the family is the basis of society, and the preservation of national traditions and strengthening the institution of the family are key aspects of the well-being of our country.

The soloist of the pop song studio of the student club of VSMU, student of the 2nd year of pediatrics Daria Shapetko congratulated those present with the Family Day.
