The regional stage of the competition “Breakthrough” was held on May 15, 2025, on the basis of the 103rd Vitebsk separate guard airborne brigade and gathered 5 teams from the universities of Vitebsk.

The participants had to pass five tests: “Assault strip”, ‘Sniper's range’, ‘Tactical shooting’, ‘Unmanned aerial vehicle operator’ and ‘Intellectual tournament’.

The most spectacular and intense stage was “Assault strip”, where each participant demonstrated the skills of disassembling and assembling a machine gun, erecting a defensive structure, marching and other elements of military training.

According to the results of the competition the team of VSMU scored the highest number of points, having gained a confident victory! Now the guys will represent the university at the republican stage of the game “Breakthrough”.
