The programme of the International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Vitebsk Spring 2025: Innovations in Allergology and Immunology’ was very rich: speakers from 11 countries took part in 6 sections on different areas of clinical immunology and allergology, 88 oral reports were delivered, 21 papers took part in the competition of researchers, 9 student papers in the competition ‘Clinical Case’
The first section covered immunodiagnostics and immunotherapy. The reports were presented by 7 professors from scientific and practical centres of the Republic of Belarus, from the Russian Federation by the chief specialist of ‘Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums named after I.I. Mechnikova’, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Bobkova M.R., (Moscow) and the chief freelance allergologist-immunologist of the Ministry of Health of the Chechen Republic, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Yanaeva H.A. (Grozny).
Section 2 ‘Innovations of allergology and immunology in respiratory pathology’ was opened by the guests from the Russian Federation: Chief freelance specialist pulmonologist of the Moscow City Health Department, Professor A.S. Belevsky, chief physician of the State Budgetary Institution ‘Centre of Allergology and Immunology’ of the Ministry of Health of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Dr. M.S. Shogenova, Professor M.S. Shogenova, Head of the Department of Allergology and Immunology of the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education, Professor N.M. Nenasheva (Moscow), Deputy Director for Science and Innovation of the State Research Centre ‘Institute of Immunology’of Russia, MD I.P. Shilovsky (Moscow), Head of the Department of Clinical Immunology, Allergology and Adaptology of the Faculty of Continuing Medical Education of ‘Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba’, Professor N.S. Tataurschikova (Moscow). Laurence DuBasque, Director of the New England Institute of Immunology, Professor of Medicine, George Washington University School of Medicine, spoke online.
The third section was devoted to the problems of immunodeficiencies. It was attended by highly qualified specialists of the State Institution ‘Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Children's Oncology, Haematology, Immunology’ and ‘Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology’. E.A. Latysheva, M.D., Professor, Head of the Immunopathology Department of the State Scientific Centre ‘Institute of Immunology’of Russia, and V.V. Kulagina, M.D., Associate Professor, Associate Professor, Clinical Medicine Department, Samara Medical University ‘Reaviz’ represented the Russian Federation; E.F. Kovzel, M.D., represented Kazakhstan; and U.P. Nabieva, M.D., Professor, represented Uzbekistan.
Section 4 dealt with complex issues of allergology: chief supernumerary allergologist-immunologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Dudareva N.I. told about the results of the allergy-immunological service of our Republic, chief supernumerary specialist allergologist-immunologist Kurbacheva O.M. about the work of the Central Federal District of Russia.
Online presentations were made by Professor Gao Zhongshan from China, Alexis Labrada from Cuba, Associate Professor Gamova I.V. from Saratov, Professor Prilutsky A.S. from Donetsk.
18 reports of specialists in the field of allergology and immunology in paediatrics were delivered at Section 5, including those of guests from Minsk and Moscow.
A variety of topics were raised at Section 6 ‘Innovations of Allergology and Immunology in Stomatology’.
Within the framework of the conference there was the final of the competition of research works (7 finalists were awarded with diplomas and souvenirs) and the final of the competition ‘Clinical Case’ for students in clinical immunology and allergology. The students, authors of clinical cases, were awarded with Laureate diplomas.
