On May 17-18, 2025, in the big sports hall of VSMU the Open Cup of Vitebsk city on badminton among men and women took place. The students and staff of our university took an active part in the competition and showed good results.

Men's singles:

2nd place - Yuri Suvorov, instructor of the sports club of VSMU.

Men's doubles:

2nd place - Wijesena Minura Ransika and Ifzal Irshad.

3rd place - Kanishk Ratnakumar and Mohammed Adnan.

Women's doubles:

2nd place - Natalia Leskova, senior lecturer of the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology with a course of FAT and PR, and Olga Amosova.
