On May 13-16, 2025, the students of VSMU took part in the open mini-football tournament among men's and women's teams for the Rector's Cup of the educational establishment ‘Belarusian State Medical University’.

The competition, timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, became a bright sporting event that united students of medical universities of the country.

According to the results of the tournament:

the female team of VSMU won the 3rd place;

the men's team showed a worthy result, taking the 4th place;

Ekaterina Utochkina, a student of Dental Faculty, was recognised as the best defender of the women's tournament.
