On May 16, 2025, the scientific-practical seminar ‘Vitebsk Spring 2025: Innovations in Allergology and Immunology. A day of practice-oriented training of doctors and patients’ on the basis of the health care institution ’Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital’
The seminar included a meeting with patients with primary immunodeficiencies and bronchial asthma, where in a friendly atmosphere the Head of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course of FAT and PR VSMU, the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oksana Ishchenko told about the implementation of the principles of personalised medicine, touched upon the problems and ways of their solution related to the provision of timely diagnosis and treatment of patients with immune defects. Alla Nikolaeva, the Head of the City Hypobarotherapy Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, spoke about the possibilities of barotherapy in the treatment of patients with immunopathology.
Then the ‘Asthma-school’ was held, where Olga Zakharova, the Head of the Allergological Department of VRCH, Chief Allergologist-Immunologist of the Vitebsk Oblast Health Department, presented the possibilities of therapy of allergic bronchial asthma. Olga Zakharova, the head of the allergological department of the Allergic Clinical Hospital, chief supernumerary allergologist-immunologist of the Health Care Department of Vitebsk region, presented the possibilities of therapy of allergic bronchial asthma, Natalia Alyakhnovich, the associate professor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course of FAT and PR of VSMU, and Tatyana Gordievich, the assistant of the Department, conducted a practical training on teaching patients how to use various devices for inhalation therapy and how to perform picflowmetry and spirography.
The seminar continued in the simulation and certification centre of VSMU ‘School of allergist-immunologist on anaphylaxis’, where Irina Semenova and Irina Shchurok, the associate professors of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course of FAT and PR of VSMU, conducted training on emergency medical care in case of anaphylaxis, and Victor Rednenko, the Head of the simulation and certification centre, conducted training on sudden death.
