Kirill Kislov and Dmitry Alifirenko, a 6th year students of the Medical Faculty of VSMU, spoke at the XVIII International Scientific Conference ‘Belarus in the Modern World’.
The topic of the speech - ‘The Great Victory: The Role of Belarus in Historical and Geopolitical Processes 80 Years Later’ - was devoted to the comprehension of Belarus' contribution to the victory over Nazism and the influence of these events on the country's modern geopolitical position.
‘We should understand the role of Belarus in the Great Patriotic War and its contribution to the Great Victory, not to forget the influence of historical events on the formation of the modern geopolitical position of the country 80 years after the end of the war,’ the speakers emphasised.
The scientific supervisor of the students was S.P. Kulik, the Head of the Chair of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor.
