Within the framework of implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between Vitebsk State Medical University and Volgograd State Medical University:

On May 20, 2025, an online lecture on pediatrics for the students of Volgograd State Medical University was held. Ludmila Zhuravleva Zhuravleva, the Head of the Department of Pediatrics № 2 with a course of FAT and PR of Volgograd State Medical University, gave a lecture “Jaundice in newborn children” to the students of the 4th year of Volgograd State Medical University.

The lecture was listened with interest by the students and staff of the Department of Pediatric Diseases of VolSMU.

On May 21, an online lecture of the Head of the Department of Pediatric Diseases of VolSMU, Professor Mikhail Ledyaevich “Masked arterial hypertension in children” was held for the  students of pediatric, medical faculties and FOST of VolSMU.

Mikhail Yakovlevich dwelt in detail on methods of blood pressure assessment in children, and also paid attention to the peculiarities of clinical picture of arterial hypertension, possibilities of diagnostics and therapy of this disease. The students listened to the report of the authoritative Russian scientist with great interest and actively asked questions.
