Students of the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training of VSMU visited the exhibition "Road to Victory"

road to victory 01May 28, 2025, the students of the 1st year of the FOST accompanied by supervisors of the study groups visited the exhibition "Road to Victory", which is held in Minsk International Exhibition Centre "BelExpo".

The exposition, timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, impressed the students with the depth of historical material and the use of modern technologies. More than 600 unique exhibits - authentic photographs, documents, personal belongings of soldiers and items of military life - immersed visitors in the era, allowing them to feel the gravity and greatness of the feat of those years.  Which once again emphasised the strong impression made by the exhibits.

The interactive elements of the exhibition made a special impression: thanks to them many students literally felt themselves participants of the events. Some admitted that they ‘experienced the horror of the tank battle’, and others had a desire to ‘stand up in defence of Belarus’.

FOST students shared their impressions from visiting the exhibition:

Ashiya Harun: "Visiting the exhibition at BelExpo was a valuable experience for us. We not only learnt more about history, but also saw how modern technologies help to preserve the memory of the heroic past of Belarus".

Zanek Nias: "This excursion opened our eyes to the incredible trials that the Belarusian people went through. The realistic installations allowed us to really feel the tragedy and courage of that epoch".
