May 30, 2025, the deputy of Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, the rector of VSMU Aleksey Nikolaevich Chukanov visited Vitebsk Regional Specialised Children's Home and took part in the event dedicated to the Children's Day.

Aleksey Nikolaevich warmly congratulated the inmates and staff of the Children's Home on the upcoming holiday, noting the importance of support and attention to each child.

‘Taking care of children and creating favourable conditions for motherhood and childhood are the most important tasks of the state social policy implemented in the Republic of Belarus,’ he said.

The children from the orphanage presented a touching concert filled with children's sincerity and smiles. The holiday turned out to be truly heartfelt, reminding how important it is to give love and care to children.
