From April 14 to 28, 2025, the Institute of Medicine, Ecology and Physical Culture, Medical Faculty named after T.Z. Biktimirov of Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education ‘Ulyanovsk State University’ held XIX International Internet-Olympiad on Latin language and basics of medical terminology, in which 29 institutions of higher education took part. The Olympiad was held in 7 specialities.

The students of VSMU took part in 4 specialities and won prizes in all of them. Speciality ‘Medicine’ in English - 1st place Joyce Alisha Jeyaruban (1st year, FOST); speciality ‘Pharmacy’ - 1st place Yurchenko Ekaterina (1st year, faculty of pharmacy); 2nd place - Yurevich Dmitry, Binkov Nikita (1st year, faculty of pharmacy); speciality ‘Medicine’ - 2nd place Busel Alina, Shevkun Daniel, Volchkova Anastasia, Linkevich Ekaterina (1st year, medical faculty); 3rd place Skidan Maxim (1st year, medical faculty); speciality ‘Pediatrics’ - 2nd place Karmanovich Ksenia (1st year, pediatric faculty), 3rd place - Kutkovich Maya, Dalshova Alexandra (1st year, pediatric faculty).
