June 7, 2025, VSMU students living in the University dormitories, under the guidance of dormitory tutors Dyagileva Rina and Shepovalova Svetlana visited the exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The exhibition is working in the Minsk International Exhibition Center BelExpo. The compositional center of the exhibition is the recreated Victory Square, around it are presented thematic blocks in chronological sequence: “Nazi Germany's attack on the Soviet Union. Heroic defense of the Brest Fortress. Defensive battles on the territory of Belarus”; “Genocide of the Belarusian people”; “Partisan struggle on the territory of Belarus”; “Key battles on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War (the Battle of Moscow, the Battle of Stalingrad, the Battle of Kursk)”; “Liberation of Belarus”; “Liberation of Europe. Defeat of Nazi Germany. Results of the war”; “Preservation of the memory of the Great Patriotic War in Belarus”.

The students familiarized with the exposition with great interest, which allowed them to plunge into the heroic pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War. The authentic documents, photos, personal belongings of the participants of the events and interactive installations recreating the atmosphere of that time made a special impression.
