On June 12, 2025, a large-scale festive event dedicated to the Day of Medical Workers was held at the Palace of the Republic, uniting over 2,000 medical workers from all regions of Belarus.

The best workers of the industry were awarded by the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Government, the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest "Doctor of the Year of the Republic of Belarus" was also held here.

During the ceremony Tatyana Kolosova, the Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health and Public Health Care of the Vitebsk State Medical University, was awarded the Badge "Excellent Healthcare Worker of the Republic of Belarus".

The delegation of VSMU headed by the Rector Alexey Chukanov took part in the festive event.

The evening ended with a festive concert.
