On the 16th of June 2025 in VSMU the scientific-educational school ‘Science is the business of young people’ devoted to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War started its work.

The Vice-rector on ideological and educational work Dmitry Kuzhel opened the School, wishing the participants fruitful work, creative successes and new discoveries.

Within the framework of inter-university cooperation with the aim of forming in students a system of scientific ideas, values, ideas vital for the Belarusian society, as well as citizenship and patriotism, a course of lectures was started by the Head of the Centre for Medical and Biomedical Research Ekaterina Pashinskaya, as well as by the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Valery Semyonov, and by the teaching staff. A documentary film about the struggle of the Soviet people against fascism was screened.
