On June 19, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted an event dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People. Dmitry Kuzhel, the Vice Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, addressed the assembled students and staff of the university. In his speech he drew attention to the importance of preserving the historical memory of the sacrifices that he suffered and the trials that our people went through during the Great Patriotic War.

And also about the need to do everything to ensure that this never happens on our earth. Then representatives of student creative teams addressed the audience. Wonderful poems, prose, and songs about the people and events of that terrible war were performed.
