On June 20, 2025, the regional athletics cross among healthcare workers was held, dedicated to the 1051st birthday of the city of Vitebsk.

The event, organized by the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers, brought together more than 50 adherents of a healthy lifestyle from 20 healthcare organizations in the region. The VSMU team also took part in the sports competition. 

The competitions were held in three age categories – up to 35 years old, from 35 to 50 and over 50 years old, with distances from 500 meters to 2 kilometers. 

The 1st place in their age group was won by Yuri Suvorov, a sports club instructor, and Zhanna Poznyak, senior teacher of physical education; 2nd place - Alexey Vasekha, senior teacher of physical education; 3rd - Sergey Maslak, senior teacher of physical education.
