The Belarusian-Chinese Youth Forum started in Minsk on June 24, 2025.

The grand opening of the event was attended by:

• the First Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Bakhanovich,
• the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lukashevich,
• the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Zhang Wenchuan.

In the history of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and China the forum is a unique event, which was initiated in June 2024 by the Head of our State, Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with the former secretary of the Party Committee of China Hao Ping.

A delegation of Vitebsk State Medical University headed by the Vice Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits is taking part in the Forum.

"Our university sees great potential in cooperation with Chinese universities and research centers from academic exchange to joint research in the field of biomedicine and pharmacy. I am sure that the forum will launch new promising projects!" said Denis Nikolaevich.

Vyacheslav Prishchepenko, the Associate Professor of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases at VSMU, made a presentation on "VRV-risk - a neural network for the diagnosis of clinically significant varicose veins of the esophagus in cirrhosis of the liver" at the section for young scientists.

The large-scale event will strengthen partnership relations, bring cooperation between the two countries in the field of youth policy to a new level, and create a platform for intercultural exchange.
