On June 28, 2025, the VSMU staff union committee organized an excursion tour "Wealth of the Lake District" along the route VITEBSK–OSVEYA–VERKHNEDVINSK–SARYA–VITEBSK

Tourists visited the places of partisan and military glory, and other historical sights of this wonderful corner of Vitebsk region, admired the beauty of the amazing temple in the agro-town of Sarya, talked with its colorful abbot, tasted the best cheeses produced by the Verkhnedvinsk enterprise "Yan Syrodel" at a special tasting, took many beautiful photos and returned home filled with many vivid impressions.
