On June 30, 2025, the unique historical, educational and socio-patriotic project "Victory Train", which has been implemented by the Belarusian Railway in cooperation with Russian Railways since 2021, stopped for two days in Vitebsk. The train consists of 12 cars, 10 of which are exhibition cars, which represent the transition from one historical episode to another: the pre—war years - the Great Patriotic War — Victory. Together with the heroes of the exhibition its visitors "walk the path from Gomel to Moscow, from Stalingrad to Berlin".

For the second year VSMU volunteer students have been accompanying visitors and participants of the project (guided tours and monitoring of compliance with security measures). On July 1, Alexey Chukanov, the Rector of the University, and Dmitry Kuzhel, the Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, visited the mobile museum "Victory Train".
