On September 17, 2025, students and staff of Vitebsk State Medical University, led by First Vice-Rector Alina Shchupakova and Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel, took part in the patriotic forum “Time Has Chosen Us. Time for New Victories!”, dedicated to National Unity Day.

The event, held at the Summer Amphitheater, brought together representatives of labor collectives, public associations, schoolchildren, and students from the Vitebsk region.

The forum demonstrated that National Unity Day is not just a state holiday but a truly national event that united Belarusians around common values.

One of the speakers at the forum was VSMU student Elizaveta Ivanova, secretary of the Vitebsk regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) and an active member of the university BRSM organization with rights of the primary committee.

Elizaveta addressed all forum participants with a speech about the continuity of generations and the role of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union in creating opportunities for youth self-realization in our country.

The future of the country is in our hands! So let us cherish this peace and move ONLY TOGETHER AND ONLY FORWARD for the benefit of our beloved Belarus!
