On September 23–24, 2025, a delegation from Vitebsk State Medical University, led by Rector Alexey Chukanov, visited the Chinese Medical Equipment Exhibition held at the “Great Stone” Industrial Park.

The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the China Association of Medical Equipment.

University staff and students familiarized themselves with advanced medical equipment produced in the People's Republic of China, covering areas such as minimally invasive surgery, oncology, neonatology, medical rehabilitation, and more.

Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov noted: “Visiting the exhibition left exclusively positive impressions. Our staff and students had the opportunity to see firsthand the real achievements in the field of high-tech medicine. For us, as a university preparing healthcare professionals for the future, it was especially valuable to witness the direction in which medical science is developing.”
