On October 7, 2025, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University, led by Rector Alexey Chukanov, met with pharmacists from Gomel UE Pharmacy, as well as young specialists and interns working in healthcare institutions in Zhlobin. The event was attended by graduates from all medical universities in the country.

Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU, noted:
"Holding such meetings is important for analyzing and improving the graduates' adaptation system. The feedback received enables us to optimize support programs for young professionals and strengthen interaction with practical healthcare."

During the substantive dialogue, representatives of the university administration and young staff discussed key aspects of professional adaptation, including:

• Features of the beginning of professional activity
• Conditions during the adaptation period
• Organizational issues related to work activities
• Solutions to social and domestic concerns

Denis Lits, Vice-rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work, added:
"Special attention was paid to the legal regulation of professional activity and the social protection of young professionals. We strive to ensure that graduates feel not only professionally relevant but also confident in their future."
