On October 2-3, the III International Interdisciplinary Congress "Comorbid Neurology" was held in Moscow. The event program brought together more than 3,000 participants from various countries. A delegation of Belarusian neurologists, leading specialists from the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery, representatives from the departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery of medical universities, and young researchers actively participated in this prominent international scientific forum.
The Comorbid Neurology 2025 Congress is a major scientific event of the year, with a unique concept aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of the complex interrelationships among neurological, mental, and somatic diseases. The congress program included expert discussions, thematic symposiums, a series of master classes, other educational activities, and project contests for young researchers.
One of the sessions, "Navigation in Controversial Issues of Neurology," was co-chaired by the Head of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at VSMU, Associate Professor Yu.V. Alekseyenko, who delivered a presentation titled "Chronic Vascular and Dysmetabolic Brain Lesions: Problems of Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention."
