On October 8, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a delegation of medical students from Volgograd, who arrived as part of a popular science visit.

The guests from Russia met with Denis Lits, Vice-rector      of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work at VSMU. During the meeting, Denis Nikolaevich welcomed the students and wished them productive work and memorable impressions during their stay in Belarus.

A presentation was given to the guests, highlighting the potential of Vitebsk Medical University, its educational programs, and the activities of youth organizations. The Volgograd students toured the university and visited the training center for practical and simulation-based learning at VSMU.

In addition to exploring the academic environment, the visit program includes a detailed introduction to Belarusian medical science and practice, as well as cultural exchange. The guests will have the opportunity to get to know Vitebsk better through a sightseeing tour, visits to industrial enterprises, and participation in museum quests. A master class on creating baby dolls will also allow the guests to immerse themselves in the world of Belarusian folk art.
