The delegation from VSMU, led by Denis Lits, Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work, participated in the events of the second day (October 10, 2025) of the International Forum of Young Parliamentarians "Youth in Local Government," made possible through the cooperation between the Minsk and Vitebsk City Councils of Deputies.
The program was equally intense: participants laid flowers at the obelisk "Minsk — the Hero City," paying tribute to the bravery of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. The final plenary session followed, during which the results of the forum were summarized, further development pathways outlined, and all participants were awarded certificates.
"Participation in such a large-scale forum is an opportunity to share and adopt best practices, establish contacts, and be inspired by new ideas," said Denis Lits. "It is especially valuable that our students, who actively engage in civic life, were able to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of meaningful political dialogue. I would like to thank the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies for giving us the opportunity to be part of this significant event."
