On October 16, 2025, a videoconference was held with the leadership of the Changchun Institute of International Commerce. The Chinese colleagues were greeted by Denis Lits, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work; Elena Sharykhina, Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations; and Anna Pchelintseva, Head of the Department of International Relations.

The main topic of discussion was the further development and deepening of educational cooperation between the institutions. The parties paid special attention to organizing and enhancing the education of Chinese citizens at VSMU, which has long been recognized as a leading training center for highly qualified medical personnel for international students.

The most promising and significant item on the agenda was the development of a project to create an educational center at VSMU in collaboration with a Chinese university, which aims to elevate the training of future applicants to a qualitatively new level.

During the constructive dialogue, specific mechanisms for implementing this initiative were discussed, including organization of pre-university training, language courses, and academic exchange programs.

Vice-Rector Denis Lits noted: "The establishment of this center will not only facilitate the adaptation of Chinese students before admission to VSMU but also strengthen the university's status on the international stage." The parties agreed to continue their working dialogue and outlined steps for the practical implementation of the agreements reached.
