As part of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus’s strategy to support young specialists, representatives of Vitebsk State Medical University convened a meeting with interns and young healthcare professionals working in medical institutions of the Minsk and Grodno regions on October 29, 2025.

Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU, and Denis Lits, Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work, discussed with young doctors issues related to mentoring, housing, and social support.

The meeting was attended by graduates from all medical universities across the republic. Participants shared their practical experiences, achievements, and insights into their work, as well as their perspectives on the relevance of the knowledge acquired at university.

Rector of VSMU, Alexey Chukanov, remarked:

"Such open exchanges of views are extremely important: they not only help strengthen the connection between education and practical medicine but also set new development directions, motivating young professionals toward continued growth."
