A delegation of leading oncologists from the Vitebsk region participated in the II Eurasian Oncological Forum "Achievements of Science for Modern Oncology." The event was held at the N.N. Alexandrov Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology.

Vitebsk State Medical University was represented by E.A. Shlyakhtunov, Chief Freelance Oncologist of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Head of the Department of Oncology with a course in the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining at VSMU; and A.V. Prokoshin, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Oncology.

Participation in such a large-scale event allows our specialists to stay at the forefront of global cancer research, adopt the best international practices, and strengthen professional ties to incorporate the latest diagnostic and treatment methods into Belarusian medical practice.
