On October 30, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University and Secondary School No. 8 in Polotsk.

This agreement opens new prospects for targeted training of motivated and well-prepared applicants focused on higher medical and pharmaceutical education.

The purpose of the agreement is to combine efforts to deepen students' knowledge of specialized disciplines (such as chemistry and biology), exchange advanced pedagogical experience, and organize systematic career guidance for students.

"I am confident that this partnership will open new horizons for talented students from Polotsk and serve as a starting point for their professional development," said Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU. "In turn, the university provides all necessary resources for high-quality pre-university education, enabling students to make informed and balanced choices about their professional paths."
