On October 31, 2025, as part of the development of bilateral cooperation between Vitebsk State Medical University and Izhevsk State Medical Academy (Russian Federation), Andrey Shabardin, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health and Public Health at ISMA, held a working meeting with Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU; Denis Lits, Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work; and Elena Sharykhina, Head of the Department of International and Interregional Affairs.

Andrey Shabardin’s visit to VSMU was part of the academic mobility program, during which he delivered a series of lectures for students of the Faculty of Overseas Students Training.

During the meeting, promising areas for further cooperation were discussed, including: development of academic exchange programs; participation in scientific and practical conferences, seminars, and other educational events; and the implementation of joint research projects.
