On November 16, 2025, a round table discussion was held at the Holy Intercession Cathedral in Vitebsk, involving VSMU students and the cathedral's rector, Priest Vasily Vabishchevich. The topic of the event was "Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity: Challenges and Solutions in the Modern World."

During the discussion, students explored the advantages and disadvantages of using artificial intelligence in teaching and research, as well as the church's stance on the use of modern technologies by humans.

Holding such events helps to increase cyber literacy and fosters responsible and safe behavior in the digital environment, which is especially important amid the rising number of high-tech crimes.

At the conclusion of the discussion, an excursion to the Church of the Holy Martyr Athanasius of Brest was organized, allowing students to learn about its history, recent restoration, and shrine artifacts.
