International cooperation with China

mejdun_sotr_Kitay 01On November 20, 2025, an online meeting was held between the leadership of VSMU and Linyi University with the assistance of the Republican Institute of Higher Education. The event was dedicated to expanding international relations and developing joint initiatives in the fields of academic mobility, scientific research, and joint educational programs in pharmacy.

Representing VSMU were Denis Lits, Vice Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work; Elena Sharykhina, Head of the Department of International and Interregional Affairs; and Anna Pchelintseva, Head of the Department of International Affairs. The Chinese colleagues were led by the leadership of the Linyi Institute.

During the productive discussion, the parties outlined several key directions for future cooperation:

  • Exchange of students and teachers: Of particular interest is organizing scientific internships for students specializing in pharmacy, as well as lectures by professors from both universities in online and offline formats.
  • Joint educational projects and programs in pharmacy: VSMU and the Linyi Institute expressed mutual willingness to collaborate on organizing joint initiatives.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to conclude a cooperation agreement that will formalize the agreements reached and define a roadmap for their implementation.

This event marks an important step in the internationalization of VSMU's education and further strengthening its position in the global scientific and educational arena.
