On November 20, 2025, a joint information day titled "Cybersecurity and Prevention of Cybercrime" was held at the Stomatological Faculty of VSMU.

An informational meeting was organized for third-year students with I.V. Kudryavtsev, an officer from the Department of Combating Cybercrime at the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktyabrsky District Administration of Vitebsk.

What is cybercrime? How can you avoid falling victim to cyberbullying? Which categories of citizens are most vulnerable? What are the liabilities associated with cybercrimes? These and many other questions were discussed during the meeting.

Students received up-to-date information about current threats and methods to protect themselves. Addressing such an important topic is especially valuable, as students can share cybersecurity basics with their loved ones and help safeguard them from scammers.
