On November 20, 2025, a "Job Fair" was held at VSMU for students of the General Medicine and Pediatrics Faculties.

The event was attended by Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov, Rector of VSMU; Alina Nikolaevna Shchupakova, First Vice-Rector of VSMU; Marina Petrovna Fomina, Dean of the General Medicine Faculty; Tatyana Mikhailovna Ryabova, Dean of the Pediatrics Faculty; Vladimir Mikhailovich Zaitsev, Head of the Department of Legal, Human Resources, and Records Management at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee; Elena Nikolaevna Petkevich, Deputy Dean of the General medicine Faculty; Alexander Alexandrovich Solkin, Head of the Department of Personnel and Legal Work at the Main Department of Health of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee; as well as representatives of 30 organizations that are hiring personnel in Vitebsk, Vitebsk region, Minsk, Minsk region, and Gomel region. The event was also attended by representatives of medical units and hospitals of correctional institutions throughout the Republic of Belarus.

The heads of medical institutions provided graduates with information about their organizations’ structure and logistical arrangements. During the presentations, emphasis was placed on the prospects for the professional realization of young specialists and opportunities for further professional development. Special attention was given to social and household issues, including wages, the provision and compensation of rental housing, and measures to support young personnel.

During the “Job Fair”, students had the opportunity to speak directly with potential employers, ask questions, and receive objective information about available job opportunities.
