How to Resist Cyber Attacks and Avoid Becoming a Victim of Cybercriminals — this topic was discussed on November 24 during a meeting between university staff and Ksenia Berezovskaya, an officer from the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Oktyabrsky District Police Department in Vitebsk.
The event was part of the Republican preventive campaign "Cybersecurity Week," initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. Ksenia Berezovskaya provided information about the most common fraud schemes and examples of cybercrimes committed within Belarus against our citizens. At the conclusion of her presentation, she urged university staff to remain vigilant and follow basic digital hygiene rules online, which can help prevent personal data leaks and financial theft.
