On November 28, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU) hosted competitions in table tennis, darts, and badminton among employees of healthcare organizations in the Vitebsk region. The event was dedicated to the "Cup in Memory of the Rector of VSMU (1979–1996), Professor M.G. Sachek."

The opening ceremony was attended by Vladimir Plytkevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers; Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU; representatives of the university administration; heads of the staff union committee; and members of the university's veteran organization.

The event gathered more than a hundred participants from twenty healthcare organizations across the Vitebsk region.

The sports competitions were organized jointly by the regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers and VSMU.

Prizes in each competition category were awarded as follows:

Table Tennis (Women)

• 1st place: Natalia Stoyakova (VSMU)
• 2nd place: Maria Suvorova (Vitebsk City Central Polyclinic)
• 3rd place: Elena Krytskaya (Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital for Emergency Medical Care)

Table Tennis (Men)

• 1st place: Ilya Sobolev (Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital)
• 2nd place: Dmitry Gromov (Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital)
• 3rd place: Vasily Stepanov (Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital for Emergency Medical Care)

Darts (Women)

• 1st place: Tamara Chernomordova (VSMU)
• 2nd place: Elena Golipad (VSMU)
• 3rd place: Lyudmila Sukhvalova (Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital)

Darts (Men)

• 1st place: Sergey Shevyako (Vitebsk Regional Clinical Maternity Hospital)
• 2nd place: Valery Piskunov (Vitebsk Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary)
• 3rd place: Vasily Stepanov (Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital for Emergency Medical Care)

Badminton (Women)

• 1st place: Natalia Leskova (VSMU)
• 2nd place: Plavinskaya Milana
• 3rd place: Tatiana Landenok (UE "Pharmacy")

Badminton (Men)

• 1st place: Yuri Suvorov (VSMU)
• 2nd place: Alexey Pogotsky (Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital)
• 3rd place: Igor Vasiliev (Vitebsk State Medical College named after academician I.P. Antonov)
