On November 28, 2025, the Military Department of VSMU organized an excursion for students of the military-patriotic group from the 10th grade at Vitebsk Secondary School No. 4. This event was an important step in career guidance for young people and the development of their patriotic consciousness.

During the tour, students had a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the structure of the military department. The teachers conducted informational lectures on various aspects of military training, including the training programs and specialized disciplines taught at the department.

Special attention was given to practical exercises in first aid. Students not only observed the procedures but also participated in them, practicing their skills on mannequins and in simulated emergency situations. This experience helped them better understand the importance of rapid response in emergencies and boosted their self-confidence.

The students noted that the event was not only informative but also inspiring. Many of them began to consider a future associated with military service and medicine.

Thus, the excursion to VSMU not only expanded students’ knowledge about further education opportunities but also contributed to the development of their sense of responsibility and patriotism—qualities especially important for young people in modern society.
