On December 11, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a military-patriotic song contest. The event was timed to coincide with significant dates: the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 4th anniversary of the formation of the military-patriotic club "I Serve the Fatherland."

The concert was attended not only by students but also by university staff and their family members. Participants presented works in three main categories:

• "Songs of Victory" — songs from the wartime years, as well as compositions about the war, the Great Victory, and its heroes.
• "Motherland, Army, Duty" — songs dedicated to soldiers and the army.
• "Belarus, You Are My Blue-Eyed..." — songs about Belarus, its history, and its people.

The event was a great success. The hall was filled not only with music and poetry but also with sincere emotions and the energy of love for the Motherland. The jury noted the high level of preparation and the increased skill of the participants, which made selecting winners a particularly difficult task.

The competition fully achieved its goal by demonstrating the unity of the university community and deep respect for our people's heroic past and cultural traditions.
